Highbrook Stables

Introducing ourselves

The yard is run by Natalie Parry (BHSAI), who has years of experience in all disciplines including dressage, eventing showjumping and polo. However her main passion lies in racing, mainlt poinit to pointing. Natalie has recently got her amateurs jocky license and is hoping to ride on the flat aswell.
Apart from running the stables Natalie specialises in hore rehabilitation schooling and re-training horses with "issues" and A sales livery.

Natalie has a team of dedicated staff - Rosemary, Highbrooks head girl, who has been at the yard right from the start and makes sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently on the yard and has endless patience with both horses and liveries!. Also part of the team is Stuart who specialises in caring for any rehabilitation horses, hand picking grass for those on bos rest, doing all thier physion exercises and just giving them that extra bit of care and attention. Reuben who is currently working through his NVQ level 2 in equine managment, and Emily who has recently joined us as a working pupil.

The stables are set in the Hampshire countryside and boast quality livery and other facilities

  • 200 Acres of estate off-road hacking
  • Scooling fences - for young and inexperienced horses (and riders!)
  • Cross country course
  • Outdoor all weather Menege

From time to time we offer specialist clinics and demonstrations

I have nothing but praise for Highbrow Stables. The owners (Hans and Helen) have provided 5* luxury for my equine friends! However, the hard work and grafting is carried out by Natalie, the yard manager and her team, Rosemary, Stuart and Reuben.

Both my horses have been stabled at Highbrook for over a year. It is amazing to see the transformation of my now 30 year old Arab within the time he has been at the yard. He looks amazing and acts like a four year old! I did not think that he would make it through to his 30th year due to the poor condition that he was in beforehand. He also is recovering from a foot tumour operation and has been stabled for the previous 5 months but still had regular grass! Yes, hand picked!

Natalie provides exemplary care, committment with enthusiasm to all her liveries with bounce and cheerfullness . She also is a superb trainer who is very patient, gives encouragement with sound advice to help through those “sticky moments”.

I would recommend Highbrook Stables time and time again!
